I'm Swati Bhat, a UX/UI designer currently pursuing an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction at Newcastle University. My passion lies in creating innovative, user-focused solutions and exploring the intricate ways humans interact with technology. I aim to deliver thoughtful, user-friendly, and responsive designs that enhance human-technology interactions.
My Story
My journey began in fashion design, transitioned through graphic design, and eventually led me to UX/UI design. Along the way, I’ve tackled a variety of challenging problems. My curiosity drives me to connect with people, lead user research, and brainstorm creative solutions. Collaboration and teamwork are the sparks that fuel my creativity. I've had the pleasure of working on diverse projects, from designing plus-size clothing to creating visually appealing apps and websites, and even teaching UI design in Bangalore. My professional path has taken me from freelancing to academia, always seeking new adventures and experiences. When I’m not designing, you can find me sketching, exploring new grocery stores, indulging in different cuisines, or walking to my favorite bubble tea place. I’m always eager to learn and grow, whether through a captivating show or an engaging movie. Additionally, I have a passion for rescuing and fostering animals whenever I can. As a child, my love for arts and crafts naturally led me to a career in design, merging my hobbies with my professional life. This background motivates me to think creatively and approach challenges with a unique perspective.
